There are innumerable people, places, and things to thank for helping me get through the two years of my Master’s program, so I will do my best to honor them all within this brief paragraph. To start, I want to thank my dad, to whom this project is dedicated to. Thank you for always reassuring me that I am capable and that I would be able to finish my project and make it to graduation, even when it felt like I wouldn’t be able to. Your unfailing support in all aspects of my life is a critical component in all my successes. Thank you for working tirelessly to help me achieve any dream that I have had. I would not be where I am today without it. To my brother, Connor, for being the recipient of all my intense emotions and handling them with his trademark stability. To Trish, for showing me what a mother should be like. To Luna, for being my favorite person in the entire world. To Sophie, for talking me out of all my spirals. To Taylor, for reminding me of my worth. To Mary, for taking me to fro-yo when I got overwhelmed. To Alexa, for fulfilling my life with such joy during an incredibly stressful time. To Maria, for being my emotional rock. To Jessika, for seeing the dodo bird with me. To Alex, for lamenting over how treacherous the slopes are with me. To Ceili, for being my childhood friend who never fails to see the best in me even when I can’t see it for myself. To Cam, for making me laugh like no one else and keeping me humble when my ego got too big. To my coworkers, who keep me sane at work and make it a true joy to go in each day. It never feels like work with you around. To Hritik, for your endless support and for reminding me to get out and have fun. To the Matts, for being my favorite part of the program and for lovingly telling me to shut up and do my work. And to Ian, my Best Judy, thank you for being the most important person in my life and my very best friend. I suppose I have NIMBY to thank for bringing us together. Thank you to every family that I babysit for, for trusting me with your children and opening your homes to me and making me feel welcome while also giving me a place to work on this project. To Dr. Gimbal, for being an insightful and immensely supportive professor and advisor. Thank you for keeping me grounded and for your unwavering confidence in my academic ability. To all the professors I had the privilege of having during my time at Rutgers – Camden, you have all made me a better scholar and instilled a confidence in my abilities that I will be eternally grateful for. To Lifetime, for introducing me to some of the best people that I have ever met. Lastly, and most importantly, I want to thank myself, for putting myself through school and ending the program with a perfect GPA, and for doing the damn thing.
